***SOLD -- 1914 Dated Colt 1911 Pistol - All originalColt model of 1911 U.S. Army pistol in .45 acp caliber. Serial number 92446 which dates manufacture to 1914. In standard original configuration. Original finish has turned to a consistent nice brown patina which rates in the 50% range. Checkered wood grips have wear consistent with the pistol as they have darkened and have smoothed checkering. Original H P marked barrel. Magazine is correct flat base with landard loop. There is very minor light pitting in a few spots in the finish. The bore is very good with light pitting in the lands; the grooves are sharp and somewhat bright! Overall, this is a pistol that has honest, consistent wear that exudes character. $SOLD
