Being a military pistol collector, I am intrigued by this picture.  When I tell you the story of how I found the picture, you will understand more about me and my collecting hobby.


I purchased a 1917 artillery luger holster some years back with a name "Watson" inscribed on it.    I knew he was a Canadian who served in the military in WWI.   Coincidentally, I did a search on the web using relevant search terms and this picture emerged.  A man holding an Artillery luger in the picture and an artillery holster in the tree just near his left shoulder.   Could this be the Canadian veteran I was searching for?  If pictures could talk !
